A Glimpse of the Glory of God

Often we speak words without considering the depth of their meaning or the consequence of the outcome. Even words of value can often cause unexpected results. As we cry out to the Lord asking Him to show us His glory have we taken into consideration what it is to be shown even a glimpse of the glory of God? So few have ever stood in the glory of his presence, and those who have are so overcome with the reflection of themselves compared to his glory that they are stricken with grief and remorse beyond anything they have ever known before. What started out as a great expectation of a divine revelation, soon becomes the revealing of the contents of the human heart and the vanity there of.

Isa. 6:7 "Then said I, Woe is me! for I am undone; because I am a man of unclean lips, and I dwell in the midst of a people of unclean lips: for mine eyes have seen the King, the Lord of hosts."
